Are you a fan of having breakfast for dinner? Just want something easy and new for breakfast or brunch? If yes, then this easy breakfast pizza is the perfect new recipe for you!
Topped with some of our breakfast favorites, this recipe makes 4 mini pizzas perfect for your next fun family meal!
What is Breakfast Pizza?
This breakfast pizza is the perfect blend of some of our favorite breakfast foods topping a traditional pizza crust. It’s your breakfast sausage, eggs, and toast all combined into one easy bite!
Luckily, this recipe is particularly quick and easy because it uses some pre-made ingredients, like refrigerated pizza dough and frozen sausage links. We always have one or two bags of shredded cheese on hand, too, so that’s one less thing to prep!
How Do You Make the Crust?
To make things simple, we used a pre-made pizza crust. You can find them in most grocery stores in the refrigerated section.
If you prefer to make your own, you can make the dough as normal, but don’t roll the dough – just leave it as one big ball.
For this recipe, you split the dough into four pieces to make four mini pizzas, so we think any store-bought or homemade dough should work. We haven’t test driven this recipe with a frozen dough, but as long as it’s fully defrosted we think it should work!
What Toppings Are on the Breakfast Pizza?
For our breakfast pizza, we used some classic breakfast foods – eggs and sausage!
There is also a generous helping of shredded cheese, of course, because it’s pizza. It also helps remind me of some of those breakfast casseroles people love.
Although we haven’t tried, we think you could easily customize this breakfast pizza to your personal preferences. You could try adding bacon, or perhaps your fave omelet veggies, or even hash browns!

Easy Breakfast Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
- 15 oz fresh pizza dough (from the refrigerated section)
- Eggs (1-2 per pizza)
- Cheddar blend shredded cheese
- Frozen breakfast sausage links
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- Flour
- Oil
Directions:
Preheat the oven according to the instructions for the pizza crust.
First, take the sausage out of the freezer to let it start defrosting a little. (It does not need to be completely defrosted.)
Combine salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders and oregano in a small bowl.
Lightly oil a baking sheet.
Lightly flour your work surface.
Place dough on top of the floured surface and sprinkle flour on top as well. Then, cut the dough into four pieces.
Press dough with fingers to stretch it out. Lift off of your surface and gently stretch and pull dough until you reach your desired thickness and size.
Place on the oiled baking sheet and pierce around with a fork, paying attention to any air bubbles.
Roll up the sides, pinching as needed, to form a crust.
Sprinkle with some of the spice mixture.
Take 3 pieces of sausage and cut into 4-5 pieces each. (They will likely still be a bit frozen, but a little paring knife worked perfectly.)
Arrange the sausage around the pizza, leaving space in the center.
Sprinkle cheese on top until you reach your preferred amount.
Crack two eggs in the center.
Lastly, sprinkle with some more of the spice mixture.
Repeat for the remaining pizzas until all four pizzas are ready to go.
Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until dough and eggs are cooked.
