How do you cook these chicken wings?
In this recipe, we say to cook the honey mustard chicken wings in the oven and make the honey mustard sauce on the stovetop.
Once you have cooked the wings and coated them in the sauce, you can either choose to serve them immediately or place the sauced-up wings under the broiler.
If you would prefer to cook your chicken wings another way, such as in the air fryer, deep fryer, or on the grill, you can still do that but you’ll need to look elsewhere for the instructions.
Why broil the wings after coating them in sauce?
Some people prefer to broil the wings to crisp them up a bit, thicken the sauce a tad, and/or simply heat up the sauce.
If you really want wings with a nice crispy skin, however, you’re going to want to broil them BEFORE coating them in sauce (and then maybe broil them a bit more after, too). But, there’s no wrong choice here – do what feels right and keep playing with it until you figure out your preferences!
