What makes this recipe so easy?

This recipe is so easy because you’re basically just throwing all of the ingredients on a sheet pan and then putting everything in the oven.

Really, the only “work” involved in this recipe is cutting the Brussels sprouts and bacon. This recipe really couldn’t be easier!

Do I need any special equipment?

The only equipment needed for this recipe are things you probably already have in your kitchen: a baking sheet, a knife, and a pastry brush.

If you don’t have a pastry brush, you can drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette dressing over the Brussels sprouts with a spoon and then use the back of the spoon to make sure everything is coated.

The only other equipment we recommend (though not “necessary”) are a good pair of kitchen shears and maybe some aluminum foil. We always use kitchen shears to cut up raw bacon slices – it makes it so easy, you’ll never go back to using a knife for bacon again! And then you may want to use aluminum foil to line your sheet pan for an easier clean-up.
