Buffalo Chicken Football Snacks

Are you ready for the big game? These Buffalo Chicken Football Snacks are the perfect appetizers for the occasion. Hearty and delicious, they’re really easy to make too!

Using refrigerated biscuits simplifies the process of making these. In just 15 minutes of prep time, you’ll be ready to serve a fun game day snack.

Buffalo Chicken Footballs Snacks

Servings:  8 footballs

Prep: 15 minutes| Cook Time: 45 minutes | Total Time: 60 minutes

Ingredients:

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast

1 tbsp oil (I used avocado)

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

½ cup Franks red hot sauce

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp melted butter

One can jumbo buttermilk biscuits 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 

Pour oil over the chicken and then sprinkle on the spices.

Rub the oil and spices into chicken and lay it in a small baking dish.

In a small bowl mix together hot sauce, brown sugar, and melted butter.

Pour sauce over the top of the chicken. 

Bake chicken for 30-40 minutes until cooked through. 

Using two forks, shred the cooked chicken and mix with the sauce in the bottom of the baking dish. 

Take each jumbo biscuit and spread to the size of a small plate.

Place shredded chicken in the middle of the biscuit and fold over.

Use a fork to crimp the edges of the biscuit. 

Place biscuits in the air fryer basket and fry at 330 for 5 minutes on each side.

Scoop sour cream in a sandwich baggie and cut a tiny hole in the corner. 

Pipe the sour cream in football lines on the biscuits.
