Homemade Ranch Seasoning Mix

Seasonings

Spread the love

Skip buying the packets of store-bought Ranch Seasoning Mix and make your own! Delicious and creamy with a bold flavor. Great for dips, dressings, chicken, potatoes, and so much more!

What is your favorite use for ranch dressing mix? Raw veggies dipped in Ranch dip is one of my favorite snacks and if you mix some BBQ sauce with Ranch dressing, you get a really yummy dipping sauce for things like fries and chicken wings.

Homemade Ranch Seasoning Mix

Prep Time: 2 Minutes

Yields: Just Under 1 Cup

Ingredients:

  • ½ Cup Dry Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Dill
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Chives
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Store in an airtight container in a dry cabinet or pantry for up to a couple of months.

Tips:

  • The dried green spices will want to separate from the rest of the ingredients. That’s ok, just give it a good stir before using it each time.
  • Use just like the store-bought seasoning ranch packets.
  • Adjust to your own tastes. That’s the best thing about making your own. Want more chives? Throw them in there! Want a little less garlic powder, no problem, adjust it down a bit. In other words, adjust it to meet your perfect preferences.
  • Be sure to store it where no moisture such as humidity and such can reach it. It may want to clump if so.
