Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice
Prep Time: 2 Minutes
Yields: About 6 Tablespoons
Ingredients:
3 ½ Tablespoons Cinnamon
2 ½ Teaspoons Ginger
2 ½ Teaspoons Nutmeg
1 ½ Teaspoons Allspice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a small dish and mix well.
Tips:
- Store in a sealed container in a cool dry place like the pantry. Keep for up to 2 months.
- If you like cinnamon to not be as bold in the mixture, simply reduce it until you find the right ratio to fit your preferences.
- Use quality spices for this recipe in order to get the best outcome. Cheaper spices tend to be lacking in flavor. This results in a weak spice mixture.
- You can easily double this recipe, or increase it as much as needed.
- If you would like, you can add cloves to the mixture. Not everyone likes them, so I suggest only adding cloves if you know for sure you already like them. ½ teaspoon should be plenty for this specific mixture.
