If you love Dave’s Killer Bread, this copycat Good Seed bread is going to become a go-to recipe in your home. This is a simple bread to make and the prep time is only about 10 minutes.
When you see the time needed for making this delicious homemade bread, don’t panic. Most of that time is hands-off time for rising and allowing the dough to rest.
We love having this bread with a delicious, hearty soup like this slow cooker chicken and corn soup. It makes for the perfect comfort food meal on a chilly evening!

Copycat Good Seed Bread

Ingredients:

bread flour
rolled oats
pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
sunflower seeds
chia seeds
salt
active dry yeast
honey
warm water
Directions:

In a large mixing bowl mix together bread flour, rolled oats, pepitas, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, salt and yeast until well incorporated.

In a small bowl combine honey and warm water, mixing until honey is melted into the water

Pour water over the dry ingredients. Mix until all of the flour is incorporated.

Cover tightly with plastic wrap and allow dough to rise for at least 3 hours and up to 12 hours overnight.


Once dough has doubled in size, flour hands and shape dough into a ball in the bowl.

Place dough on a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cover dough and let rest for 45 minutes. During this rest period preheat your oven to 425 F.

Take a sharp knife and score the dough.

Bake for 40 min or until the crust is a golden brown.

Let bread rest for 10-20 minutes. Slice and serve.

- 2 TBS chia seeds
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 TBS honey
- 1 ½ cups warm water
Instructions
