Bloody Candy Apples

Makes: 2

Prep: 25 Minutes – if making more than two, get some help so you can do this assembly line fashion. One person dips the apples into the candy melts and then passes to someone else who drizzles on the red icing.

Ingredients:

2 apples

12 oz white candy melts

4 tablespoon Betty Crocker red cookie icing

2 white large lollipop sticks

water for boiling

Instructions:

Boil water in a small sauce pan big enough to fit the apples.

Place the lollipop sticks into the apples.

Dip into boiling water to remove waxing.

Place aside and let dry.

Melt the white candy melts as directed on the package.

Dip apples into the candy melts and set on parchment paper.

Drizzle cookie icing over the top of the apple. It will drip down the sides. Double those areas to make it really look like it’s oozing.
