Equipment

  • 1 skillet
  • 1 slow cooker
  • 1 slow cooker liner

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package original bratwurst ours had 6 in a package
  • 2 large red onions sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 stick of butter sliced into patties
  • 4 oz beer
  • 6 Rolls
  • Suggested toppings optional: mustard, ketchup

Instructions
 

  • Brown bratwurst in a skillet.
  • Transfer the bratwurst to a slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle in the onion, salt and pepper.
  • Top with butter and pour in the beer.
  • Cook on high for 3 hours.
  • Serve on rolls, with toppings as desired, and enjoy!
