Ingredients

  • 1 round cheese
  • 6-7 string cheese You could use typical mozzarella string cheese or those Baby Bel cheese rolls
  • 1 cup Mozzarella balls
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • 8-10 slices deli ham or beef, turkey, salami. I love a mix of them.
  • 1-2 cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup Honey We love using a hot honey.
  • 1 cup green olives
  • 1 cup Strawberries
  • 1/4 cup Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Pistachios
  • 1-2 Sliced black olives
  • 1 cup Grapes

Instructions

  • Cut off a little from the bottom of the cheese round to make a semicircle. This will be Santa's face. Place it on your platter with the corners down.
  • Add mozzarella balls. This will be Santa's beard.
  • Next, add the string cheese to form the moustache and hair. We braided some of our string cheese for the hair.
  • Cut a little bit off a cherry tomato so it has a flat side and place that on Santa's face to be his nose.
  • Make Santa's hat out of strawberry slices. Make a pompom either from one of the mozzarella balls or cut a small round out of the leftover cheese round you made the face out of.
  • Add a small bowl for the honey.
  • Place grapes and olives on top and sides.
  • Make a ham or salami rose. Place the rest of the deli meat next to it as shown in the photos. Add nuts and dried fruit if desired. These are great for filling in any empty spaces and rounding out the charcuterie board.
  • Serve!
