Mini Donuts "Cereal"

  • 1 boxed cake mix
  • 2 eggs or egg replacer
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup icing sugar plus an additional 2-3 Tbsp water
  • Sprinkles


  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix all ingredients together (except the icing sugar and last 2-3 Tbsp of water) to form a thick batter.
  • Pipe the batter in little donut shapes onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 7-10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, combine icing sugar and the last bit of water to make a thin icing.
  • Let the "cereal" cool and then drizzle with icing and add sprinkles.
  • Enjoy with your favourite milk or as a snack alone.
