Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium bananas ripe
  • 2 Tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 Tbsp sour cream

Crumb Topping

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 6 Tbsp unsalted sweet cream butter cubed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F and grease two loaf pans.
  • Using a small bowl, mash the bananas, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  • In a stand mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs to the stand mixer one at a time until combined.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
  • Gradually beat the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
  • Beat in the sour cream until combined, and then the mashed banana mixture until combined.

Crumb Topping Directions

  • Using a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Using your fingers, work the butter into the dry mixture until a coarse crumb-like texture forms.

Baking Directions

  • Spoon the banana bread batter into the loaf pans.
  • Sprinkle the topping evenly over the batter.
  • Bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool before removing and serving. Enjoy!
