Two Ingredient Sweetened Condensed Milk

It's so frustrating when I am in the middle of cooking or baking something and I find out that I'm out of an ingredient. This homemade sweetened condensed milk is a great substitute for the store-bought kind and personally, I think it tastes better.

Equipment

  • Medium Saucepan
  • Whisk or Rubber Spatula
  • Glass Mason Jars or Airtight containers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar

Instructions
 

  • Bring milk and sugar to a boil, stirring constantly.  Stir until the sugar is fully melted.
  • Pour into a mason jar or airtight container to cool for 30-45 mins.  Use immediately or store.

Notes

Store: in fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months
