Lemonade Cookies

Take one bite of these lemonade cookies and you'll be transported to a warm summer's day, relaxing on the front porch swing. Sweet, bright, and tangy, they're incredibly delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter- softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup thawed lemonade concentrate

Topping

  • 1/2 cup thawed lemonade concentrate

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy
  • Add eggs, beating well
  • Combine flour and baking soda
  • Add lemonade concentrate - mix well
  • Form your cookie dough into even balls. A cookie maker or cookie scoop makes this easier. Place them on cookie sheets. Flatten each cookie with a spoon.
  • Bake for 7-8 minutes, or until slightly golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for five minutes then transfer to a baking rack to cool completely. (30-45 min)
  • Take 1/2 cup of concentrated lemonade and dip each cookie in and out and set back on rack for another 15 minutes.
  • (Sprinkle Sugar on if desired right when cookie comes out of being dunked)
