Make this fresh homemade tomato salsa in the summer when you can readily find lots of fresh tomatoes. In fact, this recipe is a great way to use up a bumper crop. Tomato salsa freezes well.
This tomato salsa is a very mild recipe. If you would like it spicy, add a jalapeno pepper. Some chopped red onion is a nice addition to this recipe too. I don’t put this into the food processor – I add it with the diced tomato.
